The sushi chef has over a decade of experience, and the head chef has over 25 years of experience working in restaurants across Asia and North America, so you'll be sure to receive only the highest quality of food.
The sushi menu at Toro includes dozens of roll options, including vegetarian choices. Some of the house special rolls are the Naruto Roll, spicy crunchy crab rolled with thinly sliced cucumber, and the Ichiban Roll, a rice-less roll with avocado crab, fish egg, salmon, and tuna rolled in thinly sliced cucumber. Celebrate your favorite baseball team with the Yankee Roll, a spicy tuna roll with salmon and eel, or the Mets Roll, a shrimp tempura roll with salmon. In addition to its maki rolls, Toro also offers hand rolls.

Yami-Ichi is a family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Japanese food. It's located less than 10 minutes from Carmel in Mahopac. It uses the finest ingredients to prepare dishes that honor traditional Japanese culture.
The Yami-Ichi menu includes a variety of sashimi dishes and sushi maki rolls. Consider one of the sushi don entrees for a different interpretation of sushi. Kobu Asian Bistro offers a wide variety of maki rolls. For a fried roll, consider the Godzilla Roll, which has fish with caviar, scallions, eel sauce, and spicy sauce. Another one of its special rolls is the Mango Hawaii Roll, which has avocado, eel, and salmon in the roll, topped with caviar, mango sauce, and slices of mango.
