Dodge has long been a favorite marque among driving enthusiasts. Over the years, this American automaker has produced some of the most exciting cars to ever hit the road or track, from the legendary 1968 Dodge Dart LO23 to the beastly 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Capable of rocketing from zero to 60 mph in under five seconds, these drag-strip monsters aren’t exactly safe or legal to drive on the streets if you want to push them to their limits.

Need for Speed Heat

Need for Speed Heat is widely regarded as one of the best installments in the ever-popular Need for Speed franchise. This video game revolves around you, an aspiring racer trying to climb to the top of the street-racing circuit in a fictional Florida city called Palm City. Daytime races allow you to win cash to upgrade your rides, while night races give you opportunities to unlock new parts and cars. Just make sure you stay ahead of the cops.

One of the main highlights of Need for Speed Heat is its extensive roster of fast and fun cars, which satisfies even the most discerning racing game enthusiasts. As a Dodge lover, you can choose the 2014 Dodge Challenger SRT8 or the 1969 Dodge Charger. This game is available on Windows PC, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

Forza Horizon 5

If you enjoy playing open-world games, consider giving Forza Horizon 5 a try. This game takes you to Mexico, where you’ll drive on open desert roads that run through quaint towns and breathtaking canyons. Besides trying to outrun other racers, you also need to contend with severe storms that can whip up extremely strong winds at a moment’s notice. Hot Wheels Unleashed

Released for Playstation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Hot Wheels Unleashed is a must-play title for Hot Wheels fans. In this third-person racing game, you’ll assume control of an array of vehicles from the Hot Wheels franchise and race against opponents in miniature tracks. The tracks are set in everyday environments such as a garage, kitchen, or bedroom. The game also offers a career mode, time trials, and an online multiplayer mode that supports a maximum of 12 players.

At launch, Hot Wheels Unleashed has a total of 66 different vehicles on its car list, including the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. You’re allowed to customize the vehicles or even the tracks to suit your preferences.

The Crew 2

In The Crew 2, you have to work your way to become successful in several racing disciplines, including professional racing, street racing, free-style racing, and off-road racing. Once you win all these four disciplines, you’ll achieve the status of a racing icon. The game features an open-world environment for racing and roaming across a recreation of the United States. Aside from cars, you can also race in other types of vehicles, such as motorcycles, airplanes, and powerboats.

The Crew 2 offers one of the longest lists of vehicles you’ll find in racing video games. Asphalt 9: Legends

Looking for a racing video game to play on your mobile device? Available on Android, iPhone, iPad, and Windows 10, Asphalt 9: Legends is arguably the best free-to-play racing game. It comes with three playing modes: career, special events, and multiplayer.

If you choose the career mode, you’ll take part in a long single-player campaign comprising five chapters, each of which includes several series of races that focus on a specific vehicle class or manufacturer. In the special events mode, you’ll race in daily or weekly competitions to beat other racers’ times and win certain items. A multiplayer game involves competing against other players in real-time, online races.

Currently, the vehicle list of Asphalt 9: Legends consists of 149 cars. You’ll start with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, but you’ll unlock more powerful vehicles as you progress in the game. Some examples of featured Dodge cars include the Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack, Challenger SRT8, and Viper ACR.

Gran Turismo Sport

Exclusive to Playstation, Gran Turismo Sport is the 13th installation in the Gran Turismo series. In this racing game, you can opt for the sport, arcade, or online mode. The sport mode comprises three daily races, which will be reset every week. You’ll be assigned a driver rating based on your overall skills and a sportsmanship rating that reflects your attitude on the track, such as obeying racing flags and avoiding contact with other racers. The game has 82 track configurations and 366 cars available, including a wide selection of high-performance Dodge models.
