With MetLife Stadium more than an hour away, most Carmel residents rarely get to experience NFL games in person. However, you can enjoy a similar rush cheering along your favorite team with other football enthusiasts at your local sports bars. If you’re yet to find your favorite bar or are ready to expand your horizons, we recommend visiting one of these great venues near Carmel.
Fiddler’s Green

Located right here in Carmel’s Putnam Plaza, this friendly, family-owned pub has been a part of the community for more than 40 years. While the fish and chips nod to the bar’s heritage, the menu is mostly made up of American classics such as pub pretzels, wings, and burgers. Fiddler’s Green also offers special football specials during each NFL game to help fans save.

The Mahopac Inn

The Mahopac Inn proudly broadcasts all NFL games every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. The Monday games clash with the bar’s Monday jam night though, so expect to watch those games with the sound off. If you visit any night, make it Sunday. With 85-cent bone-in and boneless wings and $5 domestic drafts, it’s a real bargain.
